Hillview is located next to the primary school in Cults, a suburb approximately 5 miles from the centre of Aberdeen.

If you are travelling by bus, take a No.19 and ask to get off at quarry road, from there the church is about 10 minutes walk.

The morning service starts at 10.30 am and will finish at around 12.00pm.

At the end of the service we serve tea, coffee & biscuits for those who wish to stay. This would be a great opportunity for you to get to know us better and we’d love to have you join us.

Yes; Hillview is situated in it’s own grounds with a large car park. Disabled spaces are available.

The service start at 10:30am. To allow yourself time to find your way and get settled we would recommend you arrive between 10 & 15 minutes before the service starts.

When you arrive you will be welcomed by one of our members.

The layout of the church makes it easy to get around and there are always plenty of people who will be happy to help you find your way. Don’t be afraid to ask; it’s a great way to meet people.

There are no reserved seats so feel free to sit wherever you feel most comfortable.

We aim to make our worship services as accessible as possible. Our band leads us in a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs of worship. We also worship through teaching, intercessory prayer and giving.

Each month we hold a communion service where we break bread together to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection.

During the service we take up an offering from our regular congregation towards the ongoing work of the church and our support of mission and Christian compassion.

Please do not feel obliged to contribute if you are visiting. However, if you do decide to give to the work of Hillview and are a UK tax payer, we can reclaim the tax you have paid on your gift, enabling it to go even further. All you need to do is to fill in and sign the Gift Aid declaration on a gift envelope and place your gift inside.

When you come and spend some time with us at Hillview we want you to feel comfortable and at ease.

You will see adults and children wearing everything from jeans & t-shirts to suits & ties so please don’t feel you need to “dress up”; just come as you are.

Children are very well catered for at Hillview. There is a lively children’s church programme for 3-11 year olds taking place during the second half of the morning service.

Crèche facilities are available for babies and toddlers with helpers available to allow parents to worship.

Your teenager is welcome to join others their own age at Ascend. Ascend begins with an opportunity to chat and play games in our sports hall. This is then followed by a short talk on a topic relevant to young people. Our youth leaders will then lead small group discussions based on that topic.

In addition to Ascend there are other youth activities which may be of interest, you can find more information here.
