Small groups are very important to us at Hillview. In fact, we see them as a fundamental part of how we should be connected as a church. (You might have noticed mention of small groups in our church vision.) We’re convinced that there is much more to ‘being church’ than getting together for an hour or two each Sunday.
We need small groups – why?
So we can go deeper with a few brothers and sisters – be authentic, vulnerable and accountable.
To help us grow spiritually.
So we can spend time praying for each other’s needs.
Because we need to care pastorally for one another.
Because we want to eat together from time to time!
So we can consider how we can reach out to the community we’re in with the love of Jesus.
